Wyoming Coal Enroute To Texas

Photo Information
A loaded coal train with coal from Wyoming's Powder River Basin passes through eastern Colorado on it's way to a power generating plant in Texas. The train, with 120 cars of coal, has two engines in front and two at the rear linked by remote control. The train is about 35 miles east of Denver in this October 2008 picture.

I love the way the train is snaking over the changes in gradient. What do those 120 coal cars weigh? That must be one helluva heavy train.
If you reduced exposure slightly the colour in this picture would come more alive. Try using levels to adjust it for effect.

Love it. Never thought I could love a ppic of a train. what makes it great is the way it snakes up and down near the rear.
