Glad you're a man after my own heart (and humour) - were you also a Lonnie Donegan fan ?
When I first saw this log I thought it was one of those trees which people had pushed coins into.
But when I got there I could see that it was genuine fungal growth.
Perhaps this is how people got the idea for the 'Money Trees' from ?
