'Down in the woods' it was quite shady making it difficult to get a good exposure.
Processing the RAW (dng) file using PDCU4, as now explained in the Guide posted on the Forum, enabled me to make some adjustments to shadows and hightlights to compensate for the natural lighting. As mentioned in my Forum posting I also cropped the image in PDCU4 before saving to jpeg.
If you check the EXIF data you will see that this was quite a test of the K-r's high ISO, the DAL 18-55 and the K-r's SR (plus my ability to stand still for a hand-held shot!)
