. I will have been the umpteen-millionth to make a pano here, but I liked the gentle early evening light. I did some other photos later in the twilight from both the Newcastle and Gatehead sides on the banksides, yet to process those.I am back down south now, was up from Halloween until the 4thNov. Had a great time out on the North Pennines and Upper Teesdale, plus a trip up to the very charming Alnmouth estuary in Northumberland. I am hoping to go back up with my family next year - for a whole week at least. Much to explore! My young kids are excited by the idea of staying up there - especially as our friends there live on the edge of a forest with Red Kites flying above
