Many Thanks Trixie . I will have been the umpteen-millionth to make a pano here, but I liked the gentle early evening light. I did some other photos later in the twilight from both the Newcastle and Gatehead sides on the banksides, yet to process those.

I am back down south now, was up from Halloween until the 4thNov. Had a great time out on the North Pennines and Upper Teesdale, plus a trip up to the very charming Alnmouth estuary in Northumberland. I am hoping to go back up with my family next year - for a whole week at least. Much to explore! My young kids are excited by the idea of staying up there - especially as our friends there live on the edge of a forest with Red Kites flying above 
