Yes, this really works well- not boring at all as it is interesting to see the gradual improvements.The strong diagonal fold and shadow on the left- soften/blend the edge of the shadow, either in post or by creating a subtle concave crease for the shadow to fall into. Little nit picks, absolutely wonderful still life.

Both great still life images and I prefer this one as it is a simpler compo and more effective to me. It is good to see someone to take after Gary, the master of still life shots.
