Redmires Winter View

by davidstorm

Up high on the moors above Redmires Reservoir near Sheffield this afternoon the snowdrifts were up to 5 feet deep and I reckon the temperature was around -5 degrees celcius, but felt like -15 with extreme wind chill. When I got back to the car, which was about 500 feet below in a sheltered spot, it was -3, and felt really warm!

This one was shot just after a snowstorm had passed through.

Needs the 'Large' view.
