Hi Donna, I think it's a sparrow, take a look at Streaked Sparrows like Savannah Sparrow or Song Sparrow, also take a look at Rusty- Capped Sparrows like Chipping Sparrow.

Hope this is of help, I know how hard bird ID can be, and in your part of the world with as many as 28 species of Sparrow it must be even harder.

Derek, yes I'm getting along great with this lens. Besides it's IQ, I love how lite-weight it is and the Quick Shift for focusing. I checked out your impressive bird pics taken with the Tammy 70 - 200...it looks to be pretty great lens in your hands! 😀
