Wild Aquilegia

Shot with the K-5iis and Sigma 150-500 at 500mm; the lens is a bit soft at 500, but for this image I like the softness!

This is in my garden, in an area I've turned into a wildflower meadow.

The softness of this lens contrasts to the sharpness your 105,
but in a nice way.

Thanks Larry, I agree with you. The 150-500 is very sharp, as long as the focal length is kept to 470mm or so, but it's not in the same league as the 105mm.
