Pretty flower

My first attempt at manual focussing with the macro lens. I'm pretty pleased with the result as I was lying on my belly with my camera resting on my camera bag while I took the shot. Don't know waht the flower is called but it is very striking, size is about half an inch across

What a brassy lassie. Incredible colour and superbly captured. The days of my going on my belly to get shots like these are past. Ah well!!
