Country Roads
As a small, brief respite from pictures of London streets at night, I thought I'd post a picture some country roads at night!

This confims it; You ARE NOCTURNAL.

Did you ever see the film "Gremlins"?...
Still, a great shot and beautifully done.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Great image, very well balanced!! To whom the Oscar goes for the wonderful star effect - to FA31&You or PP%You?
The star-burst is not an added effect - it happens when the lens is stopped down to a small aperture. I think this will happen 'automatically' with most lenses as the light hits the coinciding edges of the aperture blades. I think the effect would happen less with rounded blades, which seem to be appearing more and more in modern lenses (to help produce smooth bokeh).
Personally, I really like this by-product and wouldn't normally take it out - it looks good and is 'natural'.
all the best
Andy
