Smashing capture, the sepia adding the final touch, puts me in mind of a Catherine Cookson novel/film even though it's not Tyneside

Viewing this image from a Nordic perspective, this is very British. There is the red brick facade, the hardware store and the couple that could have been the main characters in a Poirot episode. Very atmospheric image.
