Good shot of this spectacular garden bird. Nice focus on the head. Why does it look rather cross?
We have a pair of them in our garden in south cambs - they are regular visitors to our bird feeder, for the sunflower seeds.

Lovely natural looking shot. I planted some teasels a couple of years ago and they are coming onto them now. When the seeds are gone i sprinkle Nyjer seed on them and they keep coming.

Such vibrant colours and beatifully photographed. Looking at the Large view, I am amazed at the length of the talons on it's claws !

It does look a bit moody, though it is also a good shot. They make a great photo.

Thanks all for the comments, I'm not sure why it looks a bit cross, I have other shots of the same bird where this isn't apparent! Perhaps another bird had taken its place on the feeder?

Cheers
