Large White

by Cliff-P

First day out with the camera for a while due to the weather, nice too see an abundance of Large whites about and actually get one to sit still. Taken at iso 1600, not bad I thought.

A personal opinion, for what it is worth. I would crop it tighter at the top and maybe the bottom. I find the flower colours detract from the main focus of the picture, which is a white butterfly which you have captured spot on

thoramay, thanks for you suggestion, and I see what you mean, so I`ll have a tinker and see what I can come up with

Cheers.

My suggestion...crop above the third flower above the butterfly. Clone out the top two flowers and just leave the flower the butterfly is feeding on. Clone out the stalks around the butterfly so that the butterfly stands out without anything around it. I think that is what I would attempt and it would give real impact to the butterfly
