Evening train

On a late March afternoon as the light is fading fast a Carlisle-Leeds train rolls into Langwathby station in the beautiful Eden Valley.
I was dismayed to find the excellent Brief Encounters café there was closed and up for sale.

I like late afternoon- early evening shots like this.

Too bad about the Cafe, though.

Echo Mac. I was thinking the same and then saw his words. You got to get up early to beat a Canadian to the comments page Nice perspective this. The atmosphere with that light is lovely stuff, especially on the left brickwork. Also, definately my favourite of all sky feels that claustrophobic quality.
