I took this picture this afternoon, I couldnt of got much closer without getting stung to remove the grass in the way But I thought it was a intresting take all the same.

Macro needs to be exquisitely sharp
This image could do with a little more contrast - in photoshop - 'levels', move the black slider in 17. and unsharp mask to sharpen.

But if it was me, I would go back and have another go. it's a rare subject and the Tamron can get pretty good results from a few feet away if the light is good. Flash and a higher f-stop (f8 at least) will help, and diffusing the flash by bouncing it off a white card or through a milk bottle will help keep it looking natural.
