Beacons On The Wall

Photo Information
Hadrians Wall lit up with beacons last night. Very windy and cold, the sky fell short as the cloud moved in but I think this captures the experience.

I like it - it has real atmosphere with that brooding dark sky and the spots of flame - well captured! - I saw that this beacon chain was going to happen on Countryfile on TV - great to see the 'real thing'.

Super shot, really like how it draws in the eye - there's a lot going on but not too much to dampen what is a lovely effect.
