I know this place Andrew, my son had to be airlifted with his scout troup years ago when they did the Duke of Edinburgh award, they got trapped in the snow, pretty bleak up there, look mighty muddy too, great black and white and framing too. Cheers Trixie

Thanks everyone. It's a great spot for photography.
I felt the composition was a bit "tight" on the right but I hate continually changing lenses and allowing dirt to blow onto the sensor. I ought to get over it!

David, the colour shot is OK with lots of autumn hues.
