The dark, enigmatic figure contrasts well with the tones & the movement of the waves.
I agree with Senn, the sparkle of the sand is lovely.

Great capture, Andrew! I do also like the expanse and the glitter of the moving sand indicated by the title as well. However,I cannot help wondering why you did not include just a little more of the sea at the top. Is it because of the angle?

Thanks everyone. This was made for the Tokina tele-zoom lens which is far better than it ought to be considering what I paid for it!

Nezih, If you look carefully, you'll see that the top of the frame shows the shore-line opposite Teignmouth which is, as the name suggests, the mouth of the river and the entrance to the harbour. It was quite ugly with a couple of dull boxy buildings so I cropped lower than I'd ideally like.
