The Limburg Countryside.

by pauljay

Every time I have passed this scene I have been without camera, SLR at least. So, Friday morning it was a case of 'extractus digitum' and take the short drive to the brewery town of Wijlre here in the southern province of Limburg. Might not be Buckfastleigh but it is certainly one of the reasons to make living in the region a pleasure.
I took a series of five shots but the resulting HDR looked just awful, thus I selected the most appropriate exposure and 'morphed' the white balance up to 8200K.
Even if it is destined to be just a record shot I'm quite pleased with the result.
K-5/Tamron 28-300mm.

Nice shot.
Doesn't Limburg produce a rather pungent cheese?

I agree with my nephew! It appears to be a good lens, Paul.

Lovely shot Paul. It would have been even better with a more dramatic sky, but you get what you get with the weather on the day!

Sally, you can read all about the cheese at Wikipedia!
Nezih, I love the lens!
David, I took a couple of shots with the 12-24 with a polarizer attached, but I still preferred this one.

I like its nice warm tones and the composition. But I feel that the sky is flat a bit.
