Thanks for that Larry. I did adjust the contrast, brightness and highlights but obviously not as you would. I'm not experienced in B&W processing so please tell me more if you feel its worth it.

Agree.
I like the B/W as well. A little dose of Local-contrast-enhancement might help.

I think it looks better in B/W. I like the grass better in this shot.
