I sold my Blackbird 6 months ago, regretting in now the Spring days are here... sadly it spent more time being cleaned than ridden so it had to go.

Nice bike. I'd like one with a bit more power but at my age i'd kill myself. SO, I'll keep my little 1988 Honda 250 U, to potter about on in the summer.

Photo in the gallery is of my sons friends bike. My son looks after it and his friend rides it.
He won his class (Roadstock) at Mallory last year.

You worry too much Vic !! D I was still riding this at 80 and I miss it very very much..a sublime and very forgiving machine. As a very young man I would have killed for a bike such as this, mind you I would have done the same for a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex.

I'm not far behind you @ 78 but I didn't have bikes from age 21 to 70. I'm one of those born again bikers. I used to have Tigers and Thunderbirds back in the day. As you can tell from above I passed on my bikers blood to my oldest son.
I still go to the odd race meeting with him and his friend and of course because I'm with a competitor I get to go almost anywhere around the Mallory circuit. This year however he has moved up a class and will go to other circuits??
We'll see how it goes and later in the year I may have some photos to put up.
