Little windows over a yard

by OldTaffy

This old yard, off my village High Street, has become several homes. I was fascinated by the little windows above the archway for carts or carriages.

I like this shot, mostly for the asymmetry.

Thanks for your interest and comments. I live in Linton in south Cambridgeshire and there is a wealth of ancient houses and cottages all around here. A while ago I noticed that some of our village houses had strange, small, windows crammed into odd places. I am building up a collection of them on flickr.

Regards to all,

Martin
