Planet Venus & Pleiades conjunction

by mikeyscope

Last night planet Venus crossed in front of the Pleiades star cluster, I believe this occurs only every 8yrs.
The 'V'- shape of Hyades star cluster is to the left, both clusters are within constellation Taurus.

Due to rain showers and impatience to try the 1.4x rear converter for first time I set zoom to 21mm rather than 24mm, we won't count the 3mm error.

Anyway... cropped image.

Thank you

Yes I was surprised just how well the 1.4x converter performed, I highly recommend it, money well spent!
