This is excellent. Love the subtle rim lighting, the position of the hand, the ring to add a bit of interest and the composition and colours in the reflection are equally as intriguing.

Thanks all, it's nice to know it was worth crawling around on the floor to get this shot. It's a fantastic event for photographers! You have to fight with a lot of other photographers but the 'models' are extremely obliging and patient. Well worth the visit!

Can you tell us where you were shooting from? I just can't work out why we can't see your reflection Is that your leg at the edge of the ball at 8 o'clock?

I was sitting on the ground using an angle veiwfinder, part of the camera was just visible at the bottom of the picture (by the glove) but i had to clone it out.
