Sky & Clouds close to Siena

by GIULIO57

I had a big impression looking at the sky on that moment. However I don't like this pic. Something is missing. It was the SKY to "reach me" and I was a spectator only! NOT a photographer!Pentax LX.Lens Pentax 28mm SMC (K-mount).Kodak film Elite chrome 100 ISO(slide).

I love this scene Giulio! The sky is just so nice! However, I find that dark green bit in the left side a little distracting... but I still love this shot!

Superb sky and it contrasts well with the nicely curved brown and green land. What I do not like is the wording in the bottom right of the shot.

You give no technical details, but it looks as if you used a polariser filter ?

Thanks Lowela. Your tips are always useful.Brian you're are right for watermark in the bottom right corner. I used a polarizing filter and I gave a few tech. details in the above photo information. However F number is 16 and time is 1/60. I used a tripod.

There's still a gret deal going for top quality slide film. I only gave it up myself because of cost processing and the fact that the nearest lab. was some 50 Kms. away !

I've the same problems in Italy. For this reasons I bought my K20D two years ago...but sometimes I still use slides and I shoot B&W only in analogic(film). I still process and print in my own darkroom, by myself.Expensive but useful and relaxing. Have a nice week end Brian1.

The wonderful rich colours add so well to the gentle curves of the landscape and a great sky
