Cloister n°2

by GIULIO57

Another one from the same cloister-Hand-held camera on monopod: Pentax RZ 18.See Exif for tech info. Place: University of Perugia-Agriculture School. In the past this place was a cloister. Inside there is still a beautiful Catholic Church (Chiesa di San Pietro-Baroque style). An interesting botanical garden (Middle Age Style) is joined with this building. http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_di_San_Pietro_(Perugia)

The circle on foreground works well with the arches of the colonnade. I also like the lines that lead the eye to the centre of the round hole where they would converge. Good compo and piece of architecture, Giulio!

+1 to that.

I was wondering if taming the highlights (above the arches in the windows band) would bring more balance to the picture..
