Beautiful light, a fleeting moment well caught. Have you tried a square crop on the central portion?
I'll have a look at a crop Dr. O. I did consider removing some of the left side, but I liked the buoy line leading in.

I'm not sure what is more impressive the shot or the voluntary 4.30am rise

It's the 4:30am rise Stuey, take my word for it. The body is very disorientated at that ungodly hour, I'm surprised I could hold the camera straight!
