A nice graphic black and white. Good textures to the field and great lighting on the buildings. A really good sky.

I wouldn't have imagined that lens to be so good, I think it's your skill of using lenses that makes it work so beautifully, Andrew. I only shot a few pictures with that lens and without tripod, so personally I cannot say much. I read several reviews, but all the positive things that they claim are always related with or compared to the price. This is an excellent photo, so sharp and detailed.

Beautiful, subtle foreground. I think you see things others don't.

I agree with the comment above. I don't think I would have seen this composition but it works so well. Also, the building is not what you would call photogenic, but again it really works. Great photo.

Thanks everyone. Difficult day light-wise and I wanted to shoot some atypical Cotswold landscapes. This took ages to get "right".

Nezih, in the brief few days when the lens was working, I loved it. I might have had a good example and probably wore it out with overuse.
