Grumbling Clouds BW version

Photo Information
This is the BW version of Grumbling Clouds taken a few minutes later the colour one that you already have seen in this Gallery.PENTAX MX on tripod and same PENTAX SMC 24 mm lens (manual focusing). Kodak BW T-MAX 400 ISO film scanned on Epson Perfection 3200. Date: May 17th, 2016. Shutter speed: 1/500s-F 22. Place: going to Siena and close to Buonconvento. PS: I have cropped foreground because too much grey (due to the grass) was disturbing, IMHO. In the colour version there is enough green to fill that area…and green is a colour (IMHO)…Grey is a non-colour in this BW version so deleting it makes the compo more direct and complete. C&C welcome.

Both shots are keepers Giulio, but my honest opinion draws me to the colour version

A fine, stylish image, Giulio.
Best wishes,

The colour was class but this is as good and I can see a girls face in the clouds above the house, big lips and laughing. I do hope others can see this

I like this version a lot . The momentum provided by the clouds in the sky and the contrast with the tree element "live" image . A favorite for the grain : I like it a lot ! A saw treatment , bravo Giulio !

I like them both and the crop works nicely on the mono version!
