Roche Abbey, collage.

by trixie

On August 1st, Yorkshire day, I went to Roche Abbey with my dear sister in law who is in the centre photo. We had such a lovely day there, only 13 miles from Sheffield and it was my first visit. I hope you will enjoy this, taken with my Pentax K 5 and edited in iPiccy.

Trixie what a wonderful collection....it should have been in the comp "Wish You were Here"! Might have saved me a month of writing and marking...LOL

I do have a question, why the flower? It seems kind of out of place with all the amazing landscapes of the ruins. I think if I were to print this, especially for wall hanging, I would remove the flower and just keep the theme matching, as it flows better...just a thought!
Amazing work indeed....love the third photo on the top, the composure, angle, and lighting are perfect.

Hi thank you so much, the flower yes, it has practally taken over here, its a Himalyan Balsam and its so invasive they cant get rid of it.. We had a great day out, just wanted to show people how lovely it is here, I might post the flower photo on its own with the detail about the flower.

Thank you for all your interest, I have lots of wish you where here photos too. sorry I missed the comp!
