What interested me particularly about this one (as with some others that I'll post later) was the transformation of it... the tree in the picture is a favourite of mine, and one which I find beautiful... but in many ways is quite unremarkable, in a quite standard suburban park, and I took the picture in fairly flat unremarkable light (I might treat it to some more golden light next time)... But it was a conscious attempt to put the spotlight on it, make the ordinary "extraordinary", if you see what I mean...
To some extent I think I've probably succeeded in terms of pure transformation... What I was less sure about with this particular shot (and to an extent still am) is what ELSE I might have captured here (if anything) in terms of beauty/emotion/essence over and above the transformational part, hence the posting, and my interest in reactions to it...
