Mietitrebbia

Photo Information
In the Italian language “Mietitrebbia” is the name of the tractor that harvests wheat, sunflowers, mais and so on. Pentax K20D on tripod and Pentax lens 55-300 on 300mm. I performed 5 different captures and matched these using Photomatix 4. Deghosting feature helped me to avoid “ghost effects”. I decided for an HDR capture as different colours and light conditions at that moment gave me great problems to get right exposure, balanced lights and right colours. I hope that result meets your standard requirements. By the way: “deghosting” is an useful feature and in this photo I had to avoid “that 5 different tractors in 5 different positions could affect final result !!”. HDR helped me to let driver visible inside cab, too.

The impact of the red harvester and the green strip between the 2 trees, make this picture really work.

The hard work and manipulation is not obvious, leaving a simple but strong composition as if captured naturally. Great skill.

This could only be your work Giulio, it is a wonderful piece of photographic art.
