I see you have used the appropriate aperture for this one!
"Ah Ah, pieces of f/8"!
Is this parrot fashion piracy of the 'Pentax Website' by Cannon?
Perhaps that 'no flash' captain is demanding - 'Lego'!
The patch is not on the right eye!

Ha ha, were you going for the record number of awful puns in one posting Photon? And what exactly are you inferring Sean?

Incidentally, this was a lesson in being careful how you light your subject. I used a candle for the light in the window - lego melts!

Sorry about the puns, I expected other members to 'dredge' up more from the bottom of 'Davey Jones' Locker'. Yes I am now really scraping, or 'rum'agiong at the bottom of the barrel, so perhaps I had better 'scuttle' off!

On a serious note: your Lego bricks were not liking the heat because they are made from a 'thermoplastic'; you can change the form or shape of thermoplastics by the application of heat whereas 'thermosetting' plastics will be permanently set with the application of heat and cannot be re-shaped with later further heating. It might have been better, certainly safer to have placed a small torch behind your Lego window for the purpose of the photograph.
