Wonderful composition.

Is there a levels mask here as I see a grey lower half of the person and black shoulders/head??

I noticed that too, but I think it's the jacket/shirt the chap is wearing has black 'shoulders'.

As for the two-tone man. Sloppy post processing. I'm afraid. I just didn't notice until you pointed it out, gents. And now it's really obvious, of course.
