One of the many little buildings and statues at alton towers. its a shame they dont do a ticket for people who just want to visit the gardens or take photo's
i have no idea what the message means..

i guess he was its not a small structure.
but i did a little digging into alton towers history which turns out to be quite long and couldnt find anything

A strong sharp photo. The greenery is as striking as the memorial.

Seems it was a monument to landowner Charles Talbot, 15th Earl of Shrewsbury, but the site I went to didn't explain the inscription! Take a look at http://www.towersalmanac.com/history/index.php?id=1 which offers an interesting history. Like the shot by the way!
