Ingleton to Dent

by MattMatic

Back from a break in not-sunny Yorkshire Lovely scenery though!

This was taken on Thorton Lane (?) between Ingleton and Dent. A stop-and-grab shot - but would have loved to sit and watch the light all day!

You have done a great job with this one since I'm pretty sure it didn't come out this aay directly from the camera.

I like what you have done to it and I also really like the scenery.

This is a lovely piece of work whether you did any post production or not,who cares....its a great photograph.I looked at it on the larger format and this makes it even better,I stared at it for ages noting the stone wall and the rusty barb wire the mountain in the distance.Great shot you could earn yourself a few bucks!!

Matt I really like the composition, but I cannot say the same about the PP. I would very much like to see the original, as I am sure it would be more to my taste.

Thanks for all your comments
There's not a lot of PP actually - apart from adjustments inside Silkypix Pro. A slight bit of contrast addition with a multiply layer for the clouds. It really was impressive seeing it for real.

Steve - actually, I've just looked at this on the iMac, and I know what you mean! LOL! The laptop that I edited this on has a terrible LCD... but I was impatient to post online!

May do a repost sometime later
