Tolaga Bay Wharf, New Zealand

by Dukie

Tolaga Bay Wharf is 660 Metres long and is the longest wharf in New Zealand. Tolaga Bay is about an hours drive north of Gisborne on East Cape. The Wharf was built in the 1820's to allow ships to call and load wool and meat from the local farms. It is no longer used as local freezing works have been closed and trucks are now used to take wool to market.

Nice colour and perspective. You've got quite heavy 'jaggies' on the diagonals though.
