Llangorse Lake, Wales

Photo Information
Wanting to try my camera I set out to Llangorse lake. It was cold, very quite, but the good thing was it was not raining.. I am still a beginner in Photography, so if you have any advice for me, please do so. Thanks

Just a bit of advice from me for landscape shots; try to include some foreground detail like stones, rocks, grass etc. to give your images a perception of depth. This one has too much water in the foreground with nothing to lead the eye into the shot. I would recommend taking a look at some images from the best landscape photographers on the site, e.g. Puma, Sandinista, Dodge69 for example.

Also, learn processing to bring out the best in your images, by using photoshop or a similar program. This image would benefit from a general levels adjustment and also some work to bring out details in the darker areas.

Hope this is useful.

Best regards
