Another photo from the Abbeydale industrual museum, this time inside one of the old workshops, this museum gives an insite into how the people of Sheffield lived and worked in the 1800s, outside the city, where the had clean air and reasonable living conditions. They made cutting tools for farming and agriculture, and they were in business making different items out of steel, until the 1990s.

I dont think they allowed drinking on the premises bit dangerous when you are at a forge or handling hot metal, thanks Giulio, it wouldnt be a lovely Italian wine if they were allowed. Think it was just for oil wouldn't fancy drinking out of them.Cheers Trixie
