Combs Moss to Axe Edge Moor

by sandinista

Axe Edge moor is the source of the River Dove, River Manifold, River Dane, River Wye and River Goyt. It also boasts England's second-highest pub the Cat and Fiddle. The moor is shared between the counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire, which meet on its southwestern flank at the Three Shire's Head on the Dane.

Great shot! - Did you manage to get to the falls? I'm going to try and get there this week.

Nice B/W landscape. It looks even better in enlarged view.
