Old Gate to Nowhere

by bwlchmawr

Ancient, abused and rusty gate which no longer serves any purpose and leads nowhere.

Taken on a drizzly day with my K100 D mounted with an old 135mm Chinon telephoto lens.

I like the shallow DOF in this, and the feeling of dereliction suggested by the rust.
Nice one.

Thanks. I really find the exptreme telephoto effect of the 135mm (net c.200mm) a bit much, but I forced myself to look for Suitable subjects. An interesting exrcise!
