Teddy Goes For a Ride

Photo Information
The Kite Master, as I call him, was showing off his skills Friday at Kew Beach on Lake Ontario. Silhouetted against the very bright western sun, Teddy is enjoying himself immensely. See the next image, where the kite and Teddy soar "dangerously" (not really) close to the trees in Kew Beach park.

Interesting lens to use with a K1, but it clearly works perfectly.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

David: primes would be better but not practical often. The 55-300 is not a great lens, nor even a very good one, but it is a decent lens and the results it provides are more than adequate. It has an excellent range, (made even longer by not being a FF) is lightweight and pretty small when closed. My Tamron 70-200 produces higher quality images, but is heavy and has a shorter range, especially because it is a FF). So I find myself using the 55-300 quite frequently.
