Sunflower and a tiny ant

I once made the mistake of planting a whole packet of sunflower seeds - figuring only a few would germinate.

WRONG!!!!!

Yes, I think I like the light and shade too with the light showing more of the centre of the sunflower.

Very nice shot Trixie, only one of mine has survived it's about 4ft now, here's hoping the snails will leave it alone now!

Watch out for sunflowers - they seem to have eyes that follow you around the garden!
