I prefer the previous one David as it shows the bird in context with its surroundings. I have never seen a wild Tawny, they usually only appear after dark so you have done very well to get the shots.

A few weeks ago we were told one snoozed regulary on a beam looking out of an old barn. Until today we had only seen it once and then it flew off as we drove past. Tonight it sat for several minutes while I took some shots of it.
