A different take on religion

by davidwozhere

At this time of year I decided to revisit an old image with a B&W conversion.
While it might appear disrespectful, overlaying the medieval spires of Coventry with the dome of a shopping mall and the comments of a spray can merchant seemed to me to sum up some peoples' attitude towards God Incarnate in these 'modern' times.

Tomorrow is the solstice (21st) - the shortest day - when light ceases to wane and we can look forward to the brighter days and months ahead so, whatever your own attitudes may be, welcome that light into your lives and homes and be thankful for it !

An image worth reflecting on..causes one to muse the subject at hand. Just hearing you mentioning the Light warms my heart! 😊

So did I

Plenty of folk have ate acid and jumped over the edge of buildings so maybe they do get to see God or otherwise!

I have a real soft spot for Birmingham based on a short detachment there back in the 60s! Love this shot!
