Thanks David. Yes, a poor mans SP90. As well as our similar lenses I have a goldfinch picture almost identical to yours, having done the same thing with the teasels and nyjer seeds!

Thanks all, like so many shots it's the ones you are not expecting that turn out OK. I was just "playing" around with the lens and didn't think it would work on a piece of white painted wood but the background turned up to save it!
