Sunflower Seed Lunch

Photo Information
I don't normally like bird feeders in the picture, but the pose on this Goldfinch is so cute I had to upload this one.

Hand-held, Tamron Adaptamatic 300mm f5.6 lens, 1/320 second, f9.5, ISO 1250.

I like this shot and its perfect focus on the eye. Also the crop and frame make the feeder an acceptable feature and not a distraction.
Kind Regards David
PS what software did you use for the frame?

Thank you sincerely to everyone who commented on my 'Goldfinch' pictures. I love these birds. There are many more equally good shots of the birds that I've taken with various lenses, but obviously I can't upload them all! My favourites are with a really old Tamron 300mm lens - it just seems made for bird pictures and renders them in a very flattering way.

Great shot David, I don't seem to get any of these in my backyard. Pesky squirrels keep raiding my feeder !

I'll try to get one of these for you today!! I did take some shots of them on the Teasels, but the focus was slightly off so I didn't post any of these.

Cheers, David
