My son yesterday, taking off on his eighth lesson.

Also my first day out with the Pentax T6-2X rear convertor attached to my Tamron 70-300 Di LD...all manual of course.

Was very impressed with it...more focus misses than hits but i definitely improved with practice.

I've got both of those. I must try it. This image shows it off rather well.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks David, I might post a few more later. Hopefully next week i'll get some time to try out the combo down by the canal to give a different perspective to the aviation shots.
