Painting With Light over London

by davidstorm

This image is a view of London from St. Paul's Cathedral. I waited for about 20 minutes for the light to be just right, with the foreground in shade and the sun picking out the buildings in the middle and far distance. I have then processed the image in Photomatix 4.1 as a pseudo HDR, using 5 different exposures and using the processed image carried out a little further processing with different layer treatments.

K-5, DA 16-45, Polarising Filter.

Wonderful work, IMHO. Everithing is readable. On the upper left clouds there is a small plane or helycopter

HDR is at its best when used on buildings!
