Swanstorm

Photo Information
Mute swans look thoroughly thrilled with wintry Britain. Taken in Kelsey Park, Beckenham, in November 2010. Can't recall whether I used a monopod, but I opted for a slowish shutter speed (1/40), to blur the falling snow, and kept my fingers crossed that the birds wouldn't budge. For once, they obliged. Lens: Sigma 100-300mm f4.

Love it when a plan comes together!
